Abstract

The research aimed to determine the relationship between engagement and competitiveness in an educational management unit in Peru. It had a quantitative approach, applied nature, non-experimental design, and descriptive-correlational. The instrument used to collect information was a survey, which was administered to 60 officials. Descriptive and inferential statistics, as well as the Spearman's Rho correlation coefficient, were employed to obtain the results. It was concluded that there is a significant moderate relationship between the two study variables. Furthermore, officials in the institution who achieve moderate levels exhibit vigor, dedication, greater efficiency, responsibility, proactivity, and attentiveness in their daily work.
