Resumen
Defining and prioritizing software requirements according to user's neediness is a complex and crucial task in software development process. The purpose of this research is to define a strategy for the prioritization of software requirements for projects related to the qualification of exams. In this study we used the observation methodology, Requirements Determination Meeting and Nominal Group Meeting. The results show that the proposed strategy, allows to define requirements more quickly, adequately and without ambiguities; in this experiment, 18 users participated in the Requirements Determination Meeting and 4 users in the Prioritization of Requirements Meeting; in addition, the proposed strategy was applied in the development of the Integral System for Monitoring the Evaluation of Regional Students (SIMEER) in Cusco-2017, in which 1805 Schools and 119847 students participated. The prioritization of software requirements has been widely discussed by the researchers; however, this proposal defines a strategy based on a prioritization matrix, to define and prioritize software requirements for Education field.
